Hello, I have a female sim that is stuck in an infinite baby loop. She goes in the hospital and you choose the babies traits. She then gets a series of error trap report on the babies name. The mother comes out of the hospital in maternity clothes and round belly and goes right back in to have an other baby and this is stuck in an endless loop. Resetsim does not fix this. Having the baby at home does not change the loop happening at home. I tried going to a previous save before she was pregnant and getting pregnant again but the birth still loops. Tried controlling an other house while she was giving birth and this worked but now error trap just keeps reseting the baby every couple of hours. I have since installed the woohooer mod as I have heard that it fixes this problem. It did not fix the problem though. What now happens is that the baby is born and the mother goes back home still pregnant. The baby does appear on the left hand panel but is unclickable. If you bring the mother back to the hospital she just stays stuck there and never exits the hospital.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. The only other mods I have are master control, overwatch, error trap and traveller.

Hi and thanks for bringing the issue over here where we can discuss it properly (although apparently adding Woohooer in didn't help too much). Is it possible that you or the player has changed the pregnancy term lengths while this sim was already pregnant? Doesn't seem possible since you have no mods that would allow that, but just checking.
And can we see some of the script logs that result from the script errors? You can drag the file icons and drop them on a response to this thread or, if that doesn't work, zip them together, upload to a third party file host, and provide a link so we can read them.

Nah, you should see the logs some of us have to analyze for other, not game-related purposes. They can go on for miles, or kilometers if you prefer.
I have no idea what this one means myself, except to say that shouldn't be happening. What I would probably do is use a different mod such as CmarNYC's Pregnancy Controller (I think NRaas DebugEnabler has a command for this as well) to force the birth early and hopefully avoid that mess. But perhaps our developer can shed some light on what is happening there, when he catches up with this thread.

Interesting error. Do you have any custom skins? They may be broken. And you said you have no other mods? Not even tuning mods? There may be a skill tuning mod that could be broken too.

Thank you for your answer. No other mods and no custom content. Game and extensions all from origin. The only mods I have are all nraas : master control, overwatch, error trap, traveller and now woohooer. I do get other error reports from error trap along with this. I you want, I could reproduce the problem again and generate new error logs.

Hmm, peculiar. That does muddy the waters a bit down to corruption that may not be recoverable from. Have you had script mods or cc skins installed on this save that you may have uninstalled?
If you take her and the babies father into CAS via MasterController's Edit in CAS and change one item on their everyday outfit, then exit with the check mark, reset both with MasterController then try to give birth, does that fix anything?
If not, you're certain a rogue skin hasn't installed via installing a sims3pack or something through the launcher? May be wise to pull your Sims 3 folder in documents, let a new generate, then drop your saves into it and try her giving birth just to be sure.

I can certainly try these. Let me give you more information.
There was never any third party content installed on this game. Only original EA game and extensions, many store items and nraas mods to help prevent bugs. The game is new from this summer. The save with the birth problem is my daughter’s game. I have a game myself in Riverview that had a normal birth recently (the child just became a teen). My game is in university right now and I had contacted igazor via an other forum concerning the fact that there was a bunch of teenagers residing in uni town and I had not seen this before. This is when my daughter had her problem with her game and I was directed to woohooer and this forum.
A few new things I have tried. I tried resetting the house lot via MC after the pregnant sim returned home but all the Sims in house disappeared from the left hand side panel (mother, father and 2 young adults living there). I tried the find missing sim from MC (after the pregnant sim returned home) on city hall. The baby appeared at the houses door but disappears if you try to pick it up. I tried controlling an other family in the same town with a pregnant sim (my daughter had used the inseminate MC function on other sims to insure her baby sim would have school mates) and the same birth loop happened with this sim.
I’ll try your suggestions sometime during the day and report back. I have never brought back a Sim to CAS via MC before but I’ll figure it out. Since I was able to reproduce the bug on a different sim that most likely wont work. I’ll rename the Sims 3 folder in documents to force the game to create a new one and redownload/reinstall all the store content and transfer the saves and mod folder to this new file........long process that I have done before when store items would not show up in game.

Did you get any script errors when the baby disappeared after the reset? If you were able to reproduce on another sim which has a different father than the first, something is really not right in that save.
I didn't suggest you reinstall your store content. You're just testing if a new folder resolves the issue.
