If we approach this from the angle of the Bridgeport game being unusual and different for some reason instead of the other way around, then I think it becomes an interesting question. Might your female sim back there or the neighbors visiting her have been high level celebrities at Level 10s or so in their careers with a net worth of a few billion simoleons or have some other attributes that instantly made them attractive enough for even total strangers to consider them overpoweringly attractive? It might help to take a look at the actual attraction formula that the game uses (in XML though, not really English):

No, nothing special about my or the other sims in Bridgeport I think. My sim had the irresistable (that's probably not spelled right) trait but other than that No celebreties or anything. One of them was William Fangmann, the vampire police officer and the other two I don't remember. But I also didn't pay much attention to it since it was my first time using the mod and I just thought that it seems to work. Will check out the formula but I'm kinda lazy at the moment so it might take a while ^^
