Yes, that is my suggestion as well.

I use an application called "3booter.exe" which automatically deletes the cache each time I start the game. Saves on hassle.

I'm unclear on whether this was ever fixed, there is a workaround solution suggested that works most times and that could be moved into a FAQ.

Hello, 1st of all is 3booter.exe necessary to remedy this kamasimtra issue?
And when I delete the scriptcache.package the kamasimtra issue is temporarily solved but all the sims have to start from scratch.
Is there a solution for that problem?

3Booter isn't a remedy at all. Its a workaround to clearing the cache files within MyDocs\EA\Sims3-folder.
I am suprised that the tool still works. Anyways ....

To my knowledge this issue is related to an outdated Skill tuning mod. You might want to check your modsfile:
- play with only NRaas Mods (Woohooer Base, Kama Simtra) installed on a new game with A Couple, woohoo a lot till your reach level 1, Save game, exit
- Clear cache, restart game, reload saved game and look in their Skill tab if the Kama Simtra lvl is still on 1, now reach level 2 and do the same proces over again.

If you can see that the skill level "STICKS" after save, exit, clear cache, restart, reload savedgame. Then there might be something in your gamesetup (another mod) thats conflicting with the Kama Simtra skill (or any other).
