i made a post that connects to this one and explains why i even have a sim with the pedophile trait in the first place but long story short she aged up from a teen to an adult but her girlfriend is still a teen and i also use settings imported from the settings a friend uses (they had teen-adult romance enabled i guess) but i went in and disabled it all cuz it personally creeps me out.
i was playing on another family but i just switched back to her and noticed that she has a trait called pedophile and it's making me want to delete her entirely. please, how do i remove this trait? and how do i remove the pedobait trait off of her girlfriend?

Awesome is a Core Mod, and a heavy-handed one at that. It is not at all compatible with many other Core Mods.
NRaas mods are Script Mods, with a couple of exceptions. ErrorTrap, for example, is also a Core Mod but it doesn't really conflict with the other Core Mods out there (there aren't very many). NRaas came to be because Twallan, our founder, wanted to emulate a lot of what Awesome does by way of modular Script Mods that the player could pick and choose from, and he wanted to provide a more in-depth and customizable StoryProgression system than the one Awesome offers.

You can try to use MC to remove the traits, if they do actually show up for removal. According the AM documentation and other players' experiences, that will possibly to likely cause the game to crash.

Those two traits are functions of AwesomeMod, nothing to do with NRaas. The way this goes, according to the denizens of MATY (though not everyone believes this) if you even try to bypass the mechanism it puts in place on those who have engaged in Teen-Older flirts or romance, it will crash the game on you.
What you could do though is run AwesomeMod's removal command (I think it's just Uninstall? or with some prefix like setconfig? actual AM users would have to confirm this), save, quit, then remove the mod and play without it. The Removal command is "supposed" to remove all custom traits that the mod has put into play since the sims would be unplayable without AwesomeMod if that step is not taken.
The traits aren't meant to be something to be proud of. This was the AM Developer's way of getting back at those who kept pestering him to allow Teen-Older relations long ago. Those with the Bear trait are not allowed to be near children and are banned from entering many careers, among other penalties.
I don't want to get into all of it on this forum, but a 19 year old dating or being in a relationship with a 21 year old when they started seeing each other years ago is not pedophilia by any stretch of the imagination and this is what caused me to dump AwesomeMod myself many years ago.
