Help! I’ve been using NRAAS Traveler for a few weeks and it has worked perfectly. But all of the sudden when I try to travel the game crashes on the loading screen to the travel world. I have worked so hard building the lots and sims stories in my save file and this is really disheartening.

When Traveler was working fine I sent my sim to visit Bridgeport and he ended up meeting an NPC tattoo artist that he had chemistry with. I realized that I couldn’t perform romantic interactions on the other sim (I think because he was an NPC? I’m not sure) so I used testingcheatsenabled true, right clicked on the NPC, and added him to my family. In an effort to make the NPC a playable sim, I then split the NPC from my family and had him purchase his own home (in Bridgeport). So this might have caused the error, but I’m not sure.

If anyone can help me fix this issue so that I can continue using Traveler I would greatly appreciate it because I love this mod and I love my current save file

• Have you installed any new mods or cc lately?
• Have you tried with only NRaas mods installed and see if the crash happens?
• Do you have ErrorTrap and Overwatch installed as well?

If all else fails, hopefully you have a backup to revert to before the crashing started. Those are important when playing with this game.

I haven’t installed any new mods, besides Register from NRAAS, in the last month.

I do have both overwatch and errortrap and it still crashes halfway through traveling to another town all of a sudden

Are you sure it doesn’t have to do with the NPC sim who I added to my family and then moved out into his own home? I essentially tried to make an NPC a playable sim, and it worked, but ever since it keeps crashing mid-travel

No, that shouldn't cause crashing.

• Have you tried as I asked, with only our mods installed and nothing else?
• Try emptying your inventory then traveling.
• Does it crash when you try to travel to every world or just one specific one?
• Are you in your home world when you try to travel? Trying to hop to another world without going back home is not supported and generally a bad idea.

Bump - same issue here. I've already tried deleting caches and recent mods, plus clearing my inventories.
Edit: Well, not technically the exact same issue, since my game crashes right after the NRaas Story Progression popup appears, but close enough to hijack this thread, I hope.
Update: Nevermind. Now it crashes in the loading screen when it's nearly finished, like 90 to 95% or so.

LuineGR - Sorry, I may be missing something here but does your crash on loadup have anything to do with world travel or travel transitions at all, or are we talking about being unable to load up a save that is taking place in a homeworld?

Probably not helpful, but it's difficult to ignore your signature line. Does anything more stable happen without the 50x slider settings?

I'm so sorry for not being very clear on that! I mean when traveling. I'm playing the Littler household in Bridgeport, and haven't made any new generations yet.
I'd try setting the slider limits back to 1, but I have vivid memories of my Sim being able to travel to China without any problems before even when I had the sliders that high.

Is it the transition to China that is crashing now? Have you tried with only Traveler, Overwatch and ErrorTrap installed and nothing else from any source?

Same result. I did install the Smooth Patch recently though - do you think that could be the culprit?
