I installed the NRAAS Traveler mod and tried to send sims living in Sunset Valley to visit others I had created in Isla Paradisio but it loaded the default Isla Paradisio world rather than the one with my other sims. When I tried to send my Sunset Valley sims home, it created a duplicate of Sunset Valley and all my sims.
Is there a way to get sims to visit a custom version of Isla Paradisio with custom sims? How do I send them home without duplicating the game every time?
I'm on Mac OS X 10.9 if that matters.

Hi there. Traveler doesn't unlock travel across different game saves, if that is what you are trying to do. It allows you to vacation your sims in (or move them to) an instance of let's say Isla Paradiso that is specific to that one game save. When you Return Home, not travel onward yet again, it should bring you back to the the instance of Sunset Valley that you started with, again in that ongoing game.
If you want world instances that currently exist in two or more different games to be reachable all within one game save/ongoing game, you can arrange that by copying and pasting the nhd files for the destination worlds from the other game saves into the game save that you are currently playing, provided that your sims within that game save have never been there before. See the FAQ on the subject here.

Thanks.
I've also had a problem traveling to Oasis Landing since installing traveler. It just repeats the loading gameplay tips over and over and never loads the world.

Possibly you have an instance of Oasis that has become damaged? If you have an nhd file for that world in your game save, try deleting it (only on a copy of your game save though, in case this ruins some kind of story line already established with the future world). Any better?
Also, do you have Overwatch and ErrorTrap in play as well as Traveler, and if so are any script error logs we should see being kicked up upon attempted future world travel?

It's a new town (one where I haven't sent anybody to the future yet) and the issue went away as soon as I removed the traveler package, so it's definitely related to the mod.
I don't have Overwatch and ErrorTrap. Do I need them if I try to reinstall traveler?

If everyone were unable to use an expansion pack because of Traveler, I'd know about it. That issue hasn't been reported prior so it'd be something tied to your game. Perhaps other mods you have or an issue with the data in your save since you don't have Overwatch and ErrorTrap which are pretty critical to keep this game in any functional state for long.
