Hi there. Our developer may recognize that error from the screenshot, but in the meantime can we get to see any script error logs that would have been generated at the time in their entirety? He may need to see them as well. These are files that accumulate in the TS3 user game folder in Documents and are named Script_Error_(computer name)_(date/time stamp)_(some hexcodes).xml. What shows on screen is usually only a small portion of the relevant one and there may be more than one log of interest espeically if you have ErrorTrap in play.

That's usually a broken mod error but without the script error I can't say which it is.

no, I just checked, I'm 100% sure there were no other cc, store content or mods in my previous sims installation, from which I got that save file.

If you could, please revert and try the travel transition or try to load up the world again except without the More Sims in Clubs (MSC) mod and the scriptcache file cleared. Chain would be the one to tell us if there is more than one thing going wrong there, but that's the one I'm seeing.

The main grief is being caused by that mod, yes. In addition you have a couple role sims that seem to be obsessing over umbrellas while trying to do their job. If you have uncovered cash registers or bars on the lots St Claire Cineplex or This is Hardcore you may want to think about the sim that's getting drenched. Another is a harmless woohooer error I thought I'd fixed but will revisit. And finally the sim Bitter Sweet has the future sim trait which doesn't work outside of the future world so you'll want to remove that with mastercontroller.

I deleted the MSC mod, I reset everything in master controller (for Bitter Sweet cuz I don't really know how to delete one sim and it seemed like a reset would fix it. Then I went to one of the lots and added a ceiling over the cash registers. The other lot had no registers and it was a park with underground (covered) bar so I don't know really where that water came from. I'm waiting for another error and I'll post it here if it happens. Thanks really much for helping me, I'm surprised there's such an active and helpful community here for a game from eleven years ago.

Er wait, I think something got lost in translation (so to speak) back there. Chain wasn't suggesting that you remove the sim. He was suggesting that you remove the hidden future sim trait from them because the trait (not the sim) doesn't belong in a present day world.

As for the game being too old to still have an active community of fans behind it, I suggest you point that out to a bunch of chess players in the park the next time you walk past them. Or even better, hockey players. Then report back, if you still can after having recovered from your injuries.
