University length
Is it possible to make a stand alone mod to change the university length time? I downloaded traveler but it makes my save file too big so I unfortunately had to take the mod out.

University length
Traveler should not be having that effect. Unless you are critically short on drive space, it's not the overall size of your game save that is significant. It's the size of the individual played worlds' nhd files inside of the save that matters. TS3 can only simulate one world at a time, so it's not like it's loading up all of your related nhd files into memory, only the one being actively played at the time.
And the size of the TravelDB file inside of the game save doesn't usually matter much either as again it's not loading up into RAM. It's merely coming along for the ride for reference during gameplay.
Does that help at all or are we talking about some other kind of file size bloat among the individual nhd files?

Thank you so much for the fast reply. I'll admit that my drive space is running low. I had a save where my sim was traveling a lot between worlds and moving to different neighborhoods and I noticed that my save file was a bigger than a save where I haven't traveled at all.
I thought there was a standalone mod but I think what I saw was only for the sims 4.

Well, yes. If you're doing a lot of traveling your save is going to be larger. That's not really the mods fault. You could get the same effect by traveling a lot through EA. If you just install it for the university length feature and don't travel it'll have no effect on your save size.
