Game crashing when travelling after removing Traveler

The only mod stopping your Sims from traveling to the abyss. Did you end up there anyway? We'll try to help.

Okay, then we know it's not mods or other added content causing this if it crashes on every travel transition on a fresh game folder with none of those in play. Do you have the same EPs in play as always? Can we get some specs on this system, meaning RAM, processor, graphics card, size of hard drive installed on and space free?

Same EPs have been active since the start of the save, though my launcher did goof a little the other day and started running from the tray which disabled my EPs but once I noticed I quit the game without saving, reenabled them and was still able to travel after that.
Here's my specs:
Processor: AMD Ryzen 3 2200G with Radeon Vega Graphics 3.50 GHz
Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 750 Ti
Ram: 16,0 GB
Harddrive: 465 GB with 45,4 GB free

Try traveling while your computer is offline, still with a new save in a clean Sims 3 folder (NRaas mods are fine, just leave out the others). Before doing anything else, make sure there's nothing in CurrentGame: this folder should always be empty unless you have a save loaded. For playing while offline, you can sign into Origin and put it in offline mode, then disable wifi and/or disconnect the ethernet cable before pressing Play.

Please also let us know whether you use OneDrive, and if so, whether it's set to automatically sync the contents of Documents with cloud storage.

I would also suggest checking the DeviceConfig.log (in the TS3 user game folder) to make sure the Nvidia graphics card is being used by the game and not the integrated Radeon Vega graphics chip.

Also, a GTX 750 Ti would need to have its fps capped as it's strong enough to run wild on frame rates without that being tended to. If that had been taken care of already by way of the Nvidia Control Panel and/or third party tools like Nvidia Inspector, have you checked the actual frame rates generated by the game lately with the fps on cheat code? Too high frame rates, meaning anything significantly over the refresh rate of the monitor/screen (usually 60 Hz, so 60 fps but some monitors/screens will run higher) can cause crashes among other problems -- only on attempted travel transitions but never any other times would be odd, but not totally unheard of.

Harddrive: 465 GB with 45,4 GB free

Something else that may be contributing to the crashes, is the lack of free hard drive space. If the above numbers are correct, the OP's system is operating with only 9.76% free disk space whereas the recommended amount, if this is indeed a hard disk drive (HDD), is 10% to 15%. However, If this is a solid-state drive (SSD), I believe the recommended free space should be closer to 20% to 25% for the best performance.

The game is using the NVidia card. The refresh rate was set to default, so I left it like that to see what my fps would look like. In Sunset Valley, which is where the new save was, it ranged between 50-120 with 50 being when my sim came into an area with more lots/pbjects to load in and 120 being in an area with little objects around; 68 was about the average once everything would load in in an object heavy area and 110 was about average in a low object area. In Riverview, which is where my WA save is, it ranged between 55-190; 55 being when lots/objects are being loaded in and 190 being at the edge of town where it's basically only hills with trees. The average in object heavy areas was around 70 and the average in areas with few objects was around 175.
I sent my sim in a new save to travel and it worked, the fps were around 110 when the transition to the new world happened and it fully went through and my sim ended up at the destination. Since that worked I put in my WA save, fps was within the same range and around the same average numbers, and that sim was also able to get to her destination without issues. Both of these tests were without any mods and only with Riverview as addon content, since that's where my WA sim lives.

I'm going to test with my mods now to see if that also works; NRaas ones only first and then add the rest. I'll let you know how that goes.
Edit: My sim is able to travel without issue with all mods back in.

@Sarah_Sims It is an SSD. I'll try freeing up some space to see if that changes performance.

That should help with performance but I think your main problem is not capping your FPS. See below.

As igazor said above, your FPS rate should not exceed the refresh rate of your monitor which is usually 60 Hz, otherwise you are going to overwork your graphics card. To find out the refresh rate of your monitor, in Windows 10 right-click a blank part of your desktop then Display settings. Scroll down and click on Advanced display settings. If you have multiple monitors, select the one you play sims 3 on in the drop-down menu at the top then look at the Refresh rate (Hz) below. Let us know what this is so we can give you details on how to cap your FPS. I would advise not playing anymore until you have done this, to prevent unnecessary wear and tear on your graphics card. :-)

The refresh rate is 60,000 Hz according to my display settings. So it's best to set it to 60 in the settings then if I'm understanding correctly?
I also haven't been playing at all today aside from testing to see if it crashes since there's clearly something wrong and I don't want to mess up my game or my pc.

Yes, that's right! Then check the frame rate again when you've opened your game to make sure it is actually being capped. :-)
