Cannot buy vacation home in Sunlit Tides
I had two Sims travel from Hidden Springs to Sunlit Tides on vacation, and had to choose a house to rent (for $0) upon arrival. From what I've read, the option to buy a vacation home should show up in the cell phone or computer menus, but there is no such option on either device. Under "Real estate and travel services..." on the cell phone, the only two options are "Travel" and "Return Home". On the computer, it's the same 2 options only. Am I missing something?

Hi there. As mentioned in the FAQ here, it's possible the action is not showing up because there are no properties in ST available to purchase. Try retreating to Edit Town and change the lot type of the one you want them to have from Residential-Regular to Residential-(Player) Ownable.
Note that due to a bug in the game, sometimes we must change such a lot to a Community lot type first (No Visitors Allowed is fine) in between to get the change to Residential-Player Ownable to finally stick.
