Hi guys!
So I have a household that currently has 6 sims on it. 1 Female sim became pregnant, all good. Hours later another female sim in the household became pregnant, I want to expand the number of sims in the household since I don't want to lower the chances of either of them having twins or Triplets (which would play into my storyline since the sims living in the household are triplets with their significant others so it would make sense for them to have multiples)
1) When does the game decide the number of babies? Is it decided the moment the sim becomes pregnant or at the time of delivery?
2) I have MC, SP with all add-ons both. Woohooer (linked to SP) and don't have any other core mods (I also have other Nraas mods like Returner, Overwatch, etc). Is there anyway for me to set up how many other sims would be allowed on my household?
3) Roommates count for my household number right? What I mean is if my limit is 8 this includes also roommates.

More than 8 Sims
There are six mods that govern the overstuffing (Greater Than Eight) of households each handling different methods. They are all outlined here. The one that governs Try for Baby pregnancies is Woohooer, with "0" (meaning no limit) the default setting. But you have already gotten past all that because your two sims are already pregnant. Essentially you now have eight sims in your household, the six you know (right?) and the two pregnancies.
The number of sims per delivery is not decided until birth. However, I predict what will happen here regardless is that each pregnant parent will give birth to one child; I do not believe Woohooer can force multiple births past the eight sim restriction (although you could try). The arguably better/safer way to get multiple births out of these sims would be to temporarily split the household in some way so that each pregnant sim is in a household with no more than 5 sims in it (4 if you want to go for quadruplets) and then put the household back together after all of the births are complete. These don't have to be formal move/real estate by phone deals, as those can get pretty complicated and then Mover would be required to lift the limit on the household splits coming back together, but more like using MasterController's Add Sim command to take the household apart and then put it back together.
Note that in order for MC commands to work on overstuffed or to be overstuffed households, it must be set to allow them. MC > Settings > Allow More Than Eight Sims Per House > True.
And yes, I do believe that NPC Roommates count towards the limit.

Wait, so you're saying it will push twins, trips, and quads on a household of let's say 8 or 9 like any other, all other things being equal? I could have sworn I had read reports of that not really happening but if I am mistaken, then sorry about that and for wasting the OP's time with the unnecessary breakup and put back together household procedure.Chain_Reaction post_id=76913 time=1599722267 user_id=2 wrote: Woohooer would like to speak to the manager for the doubt on it's abilities. It does indeed ignore the eight sim restriction.
This is going to appear on my annual performance review, isn't it...

I just had a sim have twins when the household already had 7 sims. So now I have 9. I didn't even realise I was using the 'allow more than 8' capability.
My problem is that I have forgotten how to get to control each sim in the household. The icon for the oldest is not on the screen.

You can tap the spacebar to toggle through all of the sims in the active household until it reaches the 9th one, which will appear on "page 2" of the thumbnails. Or you can use the PortraitPanel mod, which raises the limit on the number of portrait panel thumbnails that can appear at one time.sheridanhoughton post_id=76921 time=1599728080 user_id=5082 wrote: My problem is that I have forgotten how to get to control each sim in the household. I have seen the reports but the code is there at least. And per my own tests a while ago trying to find a problem I didn't see any.
Woohooer has informed me it doesn't wish to press charges so no it won't.

I had one of my families have triplets, then twins, then triplets, and Vlad had knocked up Elly again....damn vampire trying to take over Bridgeport.
