Help in finding a small desert world

Post by sheridanhoughton » January 21st, 2020, 8:23 pm

I have an idea in my head, where I would like to play a world with a feel like that of Simhara. I can only play small and tiny worlds on my machine. I have managed to find a few small/tiny desert worlds, but their feel is more of Strangetown than Simhara, with lots of roads and scientific installations. I would really like one with no roads, but with a river or inlet or some coast. From there, I can edit it to make it as I want. The only one I can find with no roads is Rustic Ranch. I managed to set it up beautifully, but when I quit Sims and then came back to it, I couldn't open the town because I don't have Pets EP. Does anyone know of a world that would fit? Or is there any talented and generous simmer who creates worlds, who would like to make one?

thanks

Hello Sheridan, Blacky's Zoo site has some beautiful little worlds, one of my favorite sites when I played sims. When the site loads, click the down arrow on the right side and scroll to the bottom and click "welten-worlds sims 3. The hit search button (Los) The site is in German but I use a page translator to see what it says. You have to register to download anything. Hope you find something you like.

thanks sitting bear. that one looks really fabulous and has exactly the feel I want. Unfortunately, it is too big. The download is 72MB, and I find worlds bigger than about 15MB make my game unplayable.

thanks though

Have tried the Exchange itself? You can filter on the size of the world you want (in your case 256 x 256) and I would suggest sorting by "All time" and also either "Recommendations" or "Downloads". I noticed one called Sihari (6.1 MB) here:

Have you tried this one: http://simszoo.de/include.php?path=down ... ntid=29445 ? It's small and almost empty.
Here is an even smaller one: http://simszoo.de/include.php?path=down ... ntid=36310.

they both look fabulous, thanks. Littlelambsy recommended this site, but I am a bit lazy with my German and didn't explore it enough. Thanks to both of you.
