Is GeForce Gt 640 a good for sims 3 it is not recognized by the sims 3 how do make the sims 3 notice it? This is the card that came with my pc I can install a better one if you tell which one is better for the sims 3.

I got sims 3 too notice my card but still on lowest setting on default settings guess I need a better card.

I can get a Gtx 960 if it will fit in my pc. That will be much faster card than what I have now.

the Gtx is the same the same dimensions as the gtx 760 so it should fit.

I brought the 760 gtx and a new power supply they should arrive in a days

Certainly but you will be surprised because (for Geforce 8xx and AMD R9 XXX) the game don't recognise the GC at fist and set up as lowest as possible. But don't worry, you can set much higher (resolution, details and such).
