Chatterbox Portrait Panel and Grey UI Issue

Portrait Panel and Grey UI Issue

Hello!
I've Recently come across the UI recolor mods by Dino_Rex over on MTS and installed it, the issue I've come across is the portrait panel is not showing and it throws errors at launch and when I do a total reset via a computer/city hall. The script error says:

Any ideas what could be causing this?

I was not able to find the mod you are referring to by someone named Dino_Rex.

I would say that PP and the UI mod are fighting over the same resources. From PP's documentation pages,
This mod overrides the "HudSkewer" LAYO, and will conflict with any other mod that does the same.

Yes it is that mod That J4Ks(thank you) has linked to, maybe it the mods removes parts that PP uses to add more portraits? I have 29 sims in my household and use the max portraits allowed by PP(is there a way to max it up to another column of eight?)

Hmm ok thanks igazor! I guess I cant use the recolors and PP at the same time which sucks, maybe if i directly replace the images in the game"s core files it will work.

You can still use PP with 29 sims, it just becomes a bit less convenient. If the last (or first, depending on where you start counting) sim is active, hit the space bar to advance to the "next" sim. If they are off the screen, the interface will advance to what feels like the next "page" of sims. I remember having to do that when I couldn't use PP at all on overstuffed households myself briefly, can't remember what the reason was at the time.

Yes I figured that was the issue but just wanted to confirm by looking in the package. They do conflict, yes.

I got it to work by deleting the HUD_skewer LAYO in the UI mod's package so the PP one is left to take over. Thank you to you all!
