So when I "consider attractiveness" I feel like sometimes I get answers I don't like, which is fine....but sometimes sexual attraction doesn't make sense so is it possible for me to override those scores?
I am pretty sure it comes from the woohooer.
Chatterbox Can I override the woohoo scoring?

I will add that just because two sims are hitting the right parts of the attraction formula for them and ending up attracted to each other (this is part of the base game, not Woohooer), that doesn't mean they are ever going to flirt or act out romantically on such an attraction. They may just enjoy being around each other more. Woohooer dictates more what sims would, if anything, do with such an attraction.

Sometimes, when I have enough patience, I find it an interesting puzzle as to what exactly makes two sims think they are attracted to each other. Could be a few matching traits, in sync zodiac signs, one or both of them is a high ranking celeb, high up in their careers, or has boatloads of money, has a high Renown score if you play with Woohooer's KamaSimtra module, etc., their other traits and LTRs can play a part here. For example, if you give the Attractive (and some of the others like Eye Candy) LTR to a sim, then of course those around them are going to change their view of that sim at least a little bit. And sometimes, I have to admit, I've tried to manipulate the factors that seemed to have caused the attraction -- I feel no guilt over changing sims' zodiac signs for instance since they really don't mean very much by themselves. Or I might push a couple who seem too attracted to argue with each other for a while.
But for my own active sims, they do what I tell them to and eventually come to want to do what I tell them to or else something (to me) has gone wrong along the way. Kind of the nature of a game where we play god, no?
That still doesn't mean sims who don't like each other should be getting physical or attempt to forge a relationship of some kind, unless one of them is Insane or something like that. And I see in-laws, whom the game refuses to recognize as close family relations, often be attracted to one another when there is no chance in heck that I would allow the son- and mother-in-law for example to Watch the Stars or whatever they may think is appropriate. There are a lot of variables that dictate sims' behavior, random passing fancies among them.

Here is a rundown of the game's unmodded attraction formula (sorry, in XML rather than English) in case that reveals anything not being taken into account.

I always try to match a few things--generally, zodiac, favorites (favorite color, for instance, it usually isn't a huge deal to me), and one or two traits. I'd also keep in mind that sometimes the game's incompatible traits are not exactly obvious. For instance, dog lover, cat lover, and animal lover all conflict with each other.
I created 2 sims with a minimum of 5 compatible traits (I use seven traits in my game). I let them loose in the town and they were attracted to others with at least 3 similar traits; but, once they became friends the only "family oriented" one kept calling. My only problem is that they can't keep their hands off each other.
May need to tone down their compatibility.

What! Wow I didn't know those animal ones conflicted!!
It's not compatibility causing that MoMoll, it's NRAAS again. Change your woohoo cooldown to something like 1440 (that's once a day) and romance base change down too...then they're less likely to get frisky. Without those settings changed my sims literally didn't even come up for air.
