I have the sims drinks mod but none of the drinks i order at the bar get my sims drunk, tipsy or buzzed. But the moodlets are in the game, im able to force the moodlets on my sims but the drinks dont get my sim drunk. im on 1.69 and idk whats wrong. the confusing this is that this used to work before but not anymore. im not sure if only some of the drinks are alcoholic im not sure. can someone please help me.

Technically, there is no alcohol in the game. Sims get buzzed, tipsy, and drunk (when the mod is working correctly) from high concentrations of fruit sugar. Any drink that a mixologist or anyone else makes using a LateNight Pro Bar should qualify,. Drinks made by/at the Uni coffee barista station or using a regular bar would not unless you have a bartending mod that alters these things.

So just to confirm here, LateNIght is in play, and these are indeed LateNight Professional Bars being ordered from? And have you cleared (deleted) the scrpitCache file since having added the mod in?

Yes I have cleared out all cache and stuff. I do it after every play through. I just don’t get why my sims don’t get drunk from the drinks anymore. The moodlets exist in the game but the bars I order from at clubs from a mixologist or even when I make it myself, still won’t do the trick.

Not sure why this would be necessary, but have you since tried replacing one of the LN bars with a new one to see if that helps the mod work properly for that bar?
