Hi, I know this forum only focuses on NRaas mods and you can't help us with mods outside this site, but I just would like to know if anyone uses this mod: https://modthesims.info/download.php?t=552227
Also, does it work well and will it conflict with any of the Nraas mods, like Go Here?
The Mod is one that helps fill public lots, like bars, when your active Sims visit. I thought this may be a nice one to use since I still almost always have to personally cheat-invite sims to get my public lots filled up. It's fine most of the time because I can pick who I want to see, but random sims would make things more fun and I could always still cheat-invite sims I want my sims to hang with.
I thought Go Here would help fill bars and parks, but it doesn't seem to or perhaps I missed a setting or I misunderstood a setting? Entirely possible as I still find new settings or combos of settings that was unaware of just a year or so ago and I've been using Nraas mods now for almost a decade.

Oddly enough I never seem to have a trouble with too many sims showing up in front of public rabbit holes, especially if it is at the movie theater lot or grocery store. :huh: In fact, it can get so crowded that the game lags and it's annoying. (which begs the question, one likely already asked a thousand times; why didn't EA push Sims to bars and clubs with the same extreme passion they seem to have for hanging at the rabbit hole lots?) I find it funny because when I was a teen we'd hang out in groups at the local Video store parking lot or the neighborhood grocery store, but that usually stops once you're an adult, at least in real life. Unless you're Matthew McConaughey in "Dazed and Confused" :P

Hmm, I never tried the mod, but then again, I don't have that issue with bars or clubs. Remove the bouncers though. The main reason in my game why bars are empty is that NPC sims can't get past the bouncer.

The MSC mods are known to cause general instability and we always recommend removing them when players show up here with issues and script error logs (that we can interpret as actual errors impacting the game, not merely correction logs) to proceed with troubleshooting. Some players have limited success with them.

They always seem to break the game entirely when any form of world travel is invoked.

Our user Knight here has a fixed version that may address the travel transition issues, but perhaps it would be best for them to comment on it.

This mod is known to be outdated as it is from that download, but there is an update in the comments by one of the users here. I have been using that version for a while and not seen any of the issues it previously had. But one can still remain wary that it may still have issues to iron out.

NRaas StoryProgression is actually the one that helps push inactives out and about anyway, but the fixed MSC is a helping hand in making sure they are drawn to the clubs your active sims are currently at and that they are doing thematically appropriate actions rather than standing around waiting for their needs to push them to do those things.

Yes, there are no endless loading screens in the fixed version, but I can't say that original mod is outdated. It's just when the author updated the mod to version 3, he moved the mod menu from the town hall to the cheat, which broke traveling, since cheats should be unloaded when leaving a world and reloaded again after entering a new world (at least that's my understanding). And as far as I remember, if you have Traveler installed, the game doesn't hang on the loading screen even with the original MSC version.

By the way, for those who help with log files here: my edited version is labeled as "MSC_v3_Fixed" instead of "MSC_v1".

Upd: You can also consider this mod as an alternative, but I haven't tried it myself.

Thanks everyone, I will skip that mod.:)

It's not a huge deal, I use MC "invite over" all the time anyway and I can just grab a few Sims my actives don't know to come to the clubs.
I just thought more randomness among Sims would be cool. I wanted to save myself a step. But I like the idea of removing the bouncers from the bars that have them and now that you mention that Turjan, I just realized that sometimes my bars without bouncers do have a few sims, not a lot, but more than I ever see at any club with a bouncer.

So just to refresh my memory here, it is not everyone's idea of a "fun night on the town" to spend time getting ready and then stand outside and harass or otherwise play mind games with the bouncers all evening?

I don't get out as much as i used to. :|

And I was a guy who rarely missed a weekend at club or other venue through most of my 20s and early 30s.
