PLEASE HELP ME
I don’t know if this is the right forum and I honestly don’t care at this point. My sims bf received an error and disappeared from my game. I have tried every method I’ve found online and it’s only made matters worse. When I tried inviting him over using NRAAS I get a script error, when I try resetting the lot it made my entire household disappear like it ceased to exist in the first place, moving households didn’t work either. Please help me my head hurts, it’s 5 am, and I’m on the verge of tears I just want my sims back!!!!!!

PLEASE HELP ME
Hi there.. You are in the correct place and we would be happy to assist, but please do not yell at us (ALL CAPS) as that' s not going to help. Perhaps take a break for a while to collect yourself, if you could? We'll still be here.
At the time of the BF's disappearance, you received a script error of some kind. Can we please see the resulting script error log, in its entirety and any others that were thrown around this time? Script error logs accumulate in the TS3 user game folder in Documents, where your added content and saved games are. You can drag and drop the file icon of each error log onto a response box here and let the site's upload manager do the rest. Or you could zip them together (if more than one), upload to a third party file host, and provide a link that grants us access to read them.
What was the BF's status at the time this happened? Was the BF part of your actively controlled sim's household, did he have a household of his own in this world, was he a foreign visitor or maybe a homeless NPC?
On trying to recover a prior save from before this happened, that was a good idea. But do you not have more than one save from the past that you can try to load up? The game only keeps one backup save per ongoing game, but we always recommend making more than that using Save As (and/or the NRaas Saver mod) for when unexpected things happen and we need to revert gameplay further back in time.

Yes hello and sorry my caps wasn't meant to yell at you, my anger was directed towards my game. My sims boyfriend lives with her on the same lot, when I had checked the status in the morning it showed him as active and it looked like it said he was on the home lot but he wasn't. His characters box was there but I couldn't switch over to him. I'm not using NRaas saver mod, when doing the long progress to get the sims 3 to function properly I only added the recommended ones. I finally got my game to work without constantly freezing or lagging so I've been afraid to add anything else, I don't even have any cc.igazor wrote: ↑November 21st, 2023, 9:16 amHi there.. This is the first script error I got, every other one after that was when I kept trying to fix it using every method online BEFORE pulling up the last save file when the error first occurred.

I'm not sure if it helps though, I'm not knowledgeable on script errors but it doesn't look like it showed anything...

That is a copy/paste of a portion of a script error log and not what I asked for. It is indeed missing the critical parts. We need the entire log file if we are to be able to assist. Let's try this again if we could, please.
Saver is nothing more than a fancy alarm clock reminding/nagging the player that it's time to do a Save As. It has no impact on game performance and I don't know what was meant by "recommended" NRaas mods. Recommended by whom?

I don't know if I can help here with this but it happened to me something similar on a travel to France. My sim had an adventure apparently bugged, and I made a reset to him with MC...and oh, dissapeared and errorTrap showed a script error, he not appeared on the left icons, not on screen...well, I thought, what I can do? On my case this kind of problems are not important because I save the game on 20 thousand different files, I always save on a new folder, and I delete the oldest ones, keeping the 3 or 4 newer folders, one is the current save and anothers a little bit older..well, I used the MC option "state" of the household and oh, there appears my "invisible" sim...simple, opened the console, and resetsim "Iván Simmer" (this is her name), and problem solved.

& what I mean by recommended is I look up a guide on how to get the sims 3 to function properly without the constant freezing and it recommended NRAAS mods in the guide but not the saver.

Yea... my grandma always taught me to constantly save my games on new files, but do I listen? Nope. I'll try this though, when he disappeared in the first place the plumbob just kind of slowly faded away... it was weird.Jseg wrote: ↑November 22nd, 2023, 2:32 amI don't know if I can help here with this but it happened to me something similar on a travel to France.
