Hi everyone! when downloading some objects from the store (buy, or build!) can I convert them and insert them in the game also in Packages format? will they work in the game? or will they crash?

Converting them to packages is generally fine, with the exception of counters and worlds. Those aren't impossible to install that way, just more complicated to get working properly.
You may need to use a tool called S3RC to remove encryption from the packs, if they don't convert as expected.

I'm chiming in, too. How do I convert The Sims 3 Packs into packages? I know I've done it in the past but now, for example, I can't get Delphy's Sims 3 Pack Multi-Extracter to open, as the .NET Framework 2.0 doesn't install, for some reason... (I'm on Win 10.) So are there other ways to do this?

You can also use S3packageviewer it reads also sims3package files, or worlds etc.
You can download the 129 version, you find when clicking dowload of the 1.11.9.128
https://prosims-ru.translate.goog/showt ... x_tr_hl=en

It has english language.

use the Extract... button right next to the item you want to extract, f.i. when it has multiple package fils included.
copy the name befor you click EXTRACT, and change the name of the file, otherwise it gets a the FNV number.

The package file will have also the thumbnail included. Very helpfull. You can only do it for a single file.

But I wonder, I have windows 10 and Delphis Multi-Extracter works.

@Knight: Can you please link your English Manual PDF here? I sadly lost your download link :)
here is a russian video on youtube (she has programm in english open, you may use subtitles to let translate what she sais.

I'm on Windows 10 and have always used the Delphy installer just fine, as well as the whole host of other tools with the same dependencies- so I'd say it's worth actually troubleshooting this first.
CCMagic can make merged .package with sims3packs, if all else fails.

I've been experimenting with installing store content since my first comment and I can confirm that using S3RC beforehand is a hard requirement for functional packages- specifically, the 's3rc' function needs to be applied to all types of files, and 'decrapify' is usually necessary for venues and worlds as it seems to have trouble with the parts of those that aren't objects. You can always test with/without beforehand.

In recent versions of Windows, you don't need to install .NET Framework 3.5 or older separately, you just need to enable it in the system components. Delphy works fine, also on Windows 11.

It doesn't seem to work here to refer user via @, only via ref tags. :(
Yes, I still have that file, here's the link.

Hm, right... Then I must wonder why Delphy's Extracter didn't open for me. I need to try to figure it out.
