Is it possible to stop sims from turning into mermaids without having the StoryProgression mod?

Seeing sims in horrible outfits is annoying, and the scales make them even more annoying! I know MasterController can remove the occult status, but a mod that stops the mermaid ting altogether would be great!

I am not sure but I think these are simple clothes?
I don't think the sim is a mermaid.

So you need to add these items to an invalid parts tuning. Or use Backlist linked to Dresser.

if this legging is general clothing which comes with Isla paradiso, if it's store you can uninstall if you never wanna play mermaids.

He was a mermaid/merman, and the scales disappeared after I removed the occult status.

ok, sorry, but there is no option to not allow them without SP I am aware of.

You need to delete the mermaid occult for all Sims in town
City Hall
NRaas > MasterController > Sim > Intermediate > Remove Occult (and use the filter to hit X to dismiss it)
or filter Type of occult mermaid?

or use this mod which hides mermaid styles completely, so it doesn't matter anymore if a sim gets this occult

Hmm I dont think by default EA story progression can turn sims into mermaids.
