Hey everyone!

So, my custom World is starting to reach that point where it is beginning to throw Error Code 12s every now and then, and I'm trying to figure what I can do to clean it up here and there before giving up on it... One thing I noticed is that when filtering Sims using MC by Role Sims, it appears that I have 37 paparazzi Sims! In Register, the max. no. of paparazzi is set to 3 (default?). Immigration in both SP and Register have been turned off, at least according to the settings mentioned in this FAQ: StoryProgression-FAQ-Immigration#How-is ... y-this-mod

Oddly enough, I noticed quite often during my game-play that my festival lot tends to not have a consistent concession stand attendant, and I have noticed that a new one would get generated to fill in that role, I'm guessing until the end of the festival (days?), and then the game reassigns them later to the role of paparazzi...

So, I guess the question is: why is this happening? And what can I do to stop this?

P.S. Not sure if this counts, but at the beginning of every session, I MC>Reset all Paparazzi (using the Role Sims filter) because I tend to find some of them standing (idle) at the side of the roads sometimes, so it clears them up...

Hi, I'm not Nraas employee LOL (joke, of course), but I had the same issue as you do. I've set to ''zero'' de number of paparazzi and to ''zero'' foreigns.
Just one question: You said you reset all existing paparazzi role, right? Do you save your MC's changes when you do it?

I've spent hours (really, really) looking each information MC, Retuner, Register and all mods have and changed them to what I want BUT after changing the configs, I do save the changes llike this: MC->Settings->General->Export. Then you can see the saved settings on your library when you edit the ''world''.

Just to clarify, I use MC>Reset Sim to reset all paparazzi role sims (using the Role Sims filter), not resetting the settings of MC.

The thing is I don't want to disable the paparazzi role entirely (or even tourists, I still have that set to the default ten), I just want to stop them from generating additional ones. And I'm worried that if I set it to zero, then it might delete the ones I already have, which I also don't want to do because they can come in handy for a dating pool for some of my playable sims. (The dialogue that shows up when setting the max. number does state that any extra paparazzi will get eliminated, or something like that...)

And with regards to the configurations, yeah I do export the settings every now and then whenever I update anything. How does that affect the settings for paparazzi though?

Also, I haven't changed anything in Retuner, is there something there I should consider changing?

If I remember correctly, Retuner is where I restrict role sims and service sims. There's a lot of possible categories, so I browse through everything to find any settings that might be relevant.

Yesterday I was thinking about what I've told you about export settings, but these steps are for RETUNER.
Go RETUNER>SETTINGS>GENERAL>BY TUNABLE...(not sure the name of the option, but I'm sure it's the FIRST one). Then you have to be patient and look for ''blah blah blah ROLES''. There you can see the options you want, I suppose.
