Hello! in the map of the city (example photo) in some residential lots you can see the symbol of the house, but inside they are empty. That is, some lots (residential or commercial) even if completely empty have the symbol of the house! is it a bug?

Looks normal to me unless I'm not following. If the house is solid it means a family lives there. Is there no family living in the ones with a solid house?

I took the photo on the web as an example to give an idea ..... when a residential or commercial lot is empty, only the square appears to me, but sometimes even if it is empty, the symbol of the house appears!

I get this all the time too. That means there is some small thing on the lot that is making the game "think" there is an unoccupied house there. While I don't care about the map tag, it does tend to mess up my MC Lot Demographics reports to where they don't make sense anymore. My solution has always been to run the bulldozer across the lots in question in Build/Buy Mode, not to delete the lots but to delete all objects on them, and that always seems to work.

Sorry, but I just told you what I do to fix this. Read my answer again. The alternative is to ignore the issue and play on.

(sighs) Sure. Whatever makes you happy. But that is not at all what I just said. Something must be getting lost in translation here, but I don't know how else to explain what clear the lot with a bulldozer in Build/Buy means.

The game doesn't care about this. It's not like sims can move into these empty lots expecting to find a house there because sims will never move onto a lot on their own if it lacks a refrigerator.

From Edit Town, go to the lot with build/buy, press 'k' to select the sledgehammer, drag it from one corner to the corner diagonally opposite to delete everything on the lot. You may have to activate the 'buydebug' cheat, because items from buydebug won't be deleted if the cheat isn't active. Go back to Edit Town to see if the lot marker is now correct.

Dragging the hammer over the lot will delete them without the cheat.
The cheat is only needed to make them visible so that you can remove only what you don't want and keep the rest.
