Script Error and CAS after aging up

Post by IrishGoddess89 » July 16th, 2022, 1:43 pm

Hi,

Ok so I aged up 3 teens together into Young Adults with birthday cakes. I noticed a few things before my script issue:
  • After each Sim aged into YA, it did not let me pick a lifetime wish or the last personality trait.
  • Instead of all 3's age bars saying (28 days til aging, the number of days I have set for YA), all 3 had different amounts of days til aging up.
When I used my master control to edit them in CAS, when I got done and went to click the check mark, it said Script Error. It won't let me do anything, so I'd have to use task manager to close the program. I tried all 3 Sims, all them have it happen. I read on here someone having a Script Error issue as well when trying to save out of CAS. I think they fixed it because of an issue with a lifetime wish? Well anyway, I used MC to set lifetime wishes for all 3, saved, then tried going into CAS with one of them and it's still giving me a script error. I have a lot of Nraas mods on: Animator, Career, CareerDataHomemaker, DebugEnabler, Decensor, Dreamer, ErrorTrap, MasterController, MasterControllerCheats, Overwatch, PortraitPanel, Saver, StoryProgression, and Woohooer.

Below I copied and pasted the Script Error log from my Sims 3 folder hoping any of you could find the issue in it:

Script Error and CAS after aging up

There's something going wrong there with at least one of your sims' outfits or outfit assignments. But in order to see if there's something else in play that is acting up, we really need to see the script log in its entirety. Copy/paste doesn't do it because parts get cut off and the formatting gets all messed up.

If you could please drag and drop the log file's icon onto a response here and let the site's text editor do the rest. Or, if that doesn't work, zip your logs together (if more than one), upload to a third party file host, and provide a link so we can read them in their entirety.

Ok I dragged and dropped the file from my Sims 3 folder onto here. Does this help or do I need to try zipping it? I just gave the last one I received:

Code: Select all

Proxy: Sims3.Gameplay.CAS.CASLogic

 Counter: 1
 Sim-Time: Sat. at 4:37 PM
 Start-Time: 07/15/2022 21:18:41

That error is usually caused by the kinkyworld mod. Do you have that installed?

I do. But I've had these mods (nraas and KW) for like, 4 years. And I never did have this issue before. Though having said that, I did install several new mods that I hadn't had before. So maybe those new mods could be conflicting?

That error is just one of the indicators of data corruption the kinkyworld mod causes. It is not compatible with our mods and we do not recommend using it due to improper coding it contains that causes said corruption. I'm afraid we cannot support saves that have been using the mod due to the numerous issues it causes. If you happen to have any further issues with saves where it is not installed please feel free to make a new thread. :)
