Twice now, since installing Story Progression, I have a sim gain a skill point and instantly become a Level 1 celebrity. On the last occasion I had only just moved the sim in and she hadn't yet met or socialized with anybody. She just sat down, read through the cooking skill book once, and, bingo she's 1 star celebrity chef! That never used to happen, and I'd rather it didn't. Becoming a celeb shouldn't be that easy, and I might not want her to be a celebrity. Anyway, I was wondering if Nraas SP has something to do with it. In addition to the main mod I have the Skills and Extra modules. I can't think what else could have caused it, the only other mods I've added recently were the Enhanced Fairies mod and Get To Know fix.

EDIT: To test thinks out I removed the SP mods and played the same scenario through again: same sim, same town, same house, same skill. This time no celebrity gain.

Yes, SP has something to do with this, or at least SP is allowing this to happen, specifically for a sim to gain celebrity points from acquiring skills. But you can block that:

NRaas > SP > General Options > Options: Skills > Celebrity Per Skill Level > [0 or something low]
