We all know that the memory system is not perfect, yet I still appreciate its existence. I do have the mod that limits the number of memories recorded but even then it seems that the TravelDB.package file for my current world is flooded with memories snapshot. I don't wanna go crazy and delete all of the items tagged as 'IMG' and within the same Resource Group in S3PE, because I tried that and my Stylist Sims lost all their portfolio photographs; all photos are blank. Fortunately, I have a backup and right now I am going through each item listed and deleting them one by one. According to S3PE, the number of items in the TravelDB.package were about 1670 items. These include, according to the Sims Wiki Game guide:
"0x0269D005: memory snapshots, camera photos, still life, and portrait paintings."
At the time of writing this (rant), I'm down to 1573.
I am by no means an expert in coding, which is why I'm simply providing a suggestion to the issue of Save file bloating for those who wish to preserve the memory feature, if it's possible. In place of a screenshot, a generic icon would be used similar to what happens when the game camera is not pointed at or focused on the Sim in question.
Unless there's a way to filter through the resource items in S3PE even further - and faster...?

ETA: Well, I guess I answered my question. Apparently, the 'Memsize' column in S3PE has different values for memory snapshots and everything else (camera photos...), so if I click on that, it sorts everything depending on size. *Queue tears of happiness!*
