I tested in a large world with a good sized population. Played for a couple of hours and then let the game run for a few more hours. When I went back in there was no lagging or RAM spikes, played a little more and experienced no lag.
I am a bit confused on the "Color Fun". I understand the message advising the active sim has not been processed but after awhile when I check again I do not see the message but I'm not seeing any advice on color and the menu only offers NRaas / Chemistry. I do not see View Sim Hair Color processed. Did I miss something in the instructions?

If you're not getting the message that the sim has not been processed yet you should be getting a message with the hair color that has been assessed. The goal is to go around checking Sims that have been simulated long enough for them to be processed and see if the color it gives you doesn't match up with the color they actually have.
I played for an hour or so with the same sim and then let the game continue unmonitored with my active sim. Almost 2 sim weeks went by and I tried again. Clicked on my sim NRaas and the Chemistry window appeared. If I click on the X naturally it closes. When I click on Accept it closes and a message shows up in Notifications the sim has not been processed. No script errors are being generated. I put a picture of the window on Mediafire:http://www.mediafire.com/view/ac4vvhd9o ... MISTRY.JPG
I went back into the Chemistry Performance page: "If you'd like to test this system, after a few Sim hours you can click on sims that have been on an active lot for a good amount of time and go to NRaas / Chemistry / View Sim Hair Color (it's untranslated)". I am not sure how to test this further for you.
