Allow progression
Hello, can I just ask, but does having "Career:Allow progression:true" mean inactive Sims in the hood will gain career progression, or does turning it off mean no Sims will advance in their career, even active Sims? Basically, what does this feature mean? Because I want Sims I'm playing to gain promotions.

Allow progression
I already answered this on your other thread here (last paragraph). It depends on whether you apply the setting under Town Options or some subset such as Caste Options, for example on the Not Active caste. If True under Town Options but False under a caste, then the caste setting will trump the town setting for members of the caste (only).
Town > Lot > Household > Caste > Sim
(options flow from left to right;
settings on the right trump those on the left)
But if SP is not in charge of progression overall, then you don't really have any such level of control.
