Vampires get cured too quickly
I installed the optional add on packages for occults and I've been noticing vampires have been getting cured extremely fast. Like my played sim was trying to make friends with a vampire and in the next day they were no longer a vampire. Then later I was going to try to have them get into a romantic relationship with a vampire only for them to be cured very quickly. Is there anything I can do to either disable them being cured entirely or greatly slow it down?

The setting to allow cures is here:
SP > General Options > Options: Personalities > Allow Cure Occult > True
But I don't remember whether this blocks the underlying scenario or just allows Slayers to kill vampires rather than curing them. (Maybe someone else will clarify, or you could test it and not save your progress.) You could instead increase the length of the cycle for the Personality manager, in the same location; the value is in sim-minutes.

Yeah I really don't want the sims to be killed either.puzzlezaddict wrote: ↑April 2nd, 2023, 11:45 amThe setting to allow cures is here:

Like I said, you might need to test it if no one else knows the answer. I've never used this add-on and don't want to pretend like I know what it does. You don't need to save your progress; just load the save, find out who's currently a vampire, then let the game run and see what happens to those sims.
