Shang Simla deleting itself?
Hi, I've been playing the Sims 3, and I went to Shang Simla with two different households. When I went with the first household, an alert from StoryProgression said that this was the first time I was visiting that I had never been to that world before, and asked if I wanted to enable NRass StoryProgression, which I did. However, some time later, I went again to Shang Simla with a different household, but the problem I noticed was that I saw the same alert, and I also noticed that the NPCs were different from the last time I was there. So I was wondering, is this a problem with StoryProgression? And if so, is there a way I can fix it? Any help is greatly appreciated!

It sounds like you've been playing two households within the same save, but please say so if that isn't the case. Otherwise, this is not a problem with StoryProgression or any other NRaas mod. What might be the issue is your sims' homeworld. Where are you playing at the moment? Some custom worlds don't have a unique identifier, which makes traveling back and forth problematic.
If you're playing in an EA-made world, perhaps a non-NRaas mod is interfering. As a test, you could remove those and try traveling back and forth a couple times to see whether it helps. You don't need to save your progress, or better yet, you can use "save as" and rename the save so the original stays intact under its old name.

Yeah, I am playing two households within the one save. Would that still be an NRass issue? And if so, how might I go around fixing this? Many thanks again!

It's not an NRaas error, and it wouldn't be in any case.

If you are in fact playing in Appaloosa Plains, the EA version, this shouldn't be happening. In case you want to compare, I'm playing in AP right now with StoryProgression installed, and my sims just got back from a second vacation to China. This definitely didn't happen to me.
Anyway, please remove all your non-NRaas mods and test again. You may need to travel twice to see whether the issue is truly gone. If you don't want to wait, you can delete the travel-related moodlet with MC so your sim(s) can turn around and travel immediately after returning home.
