"tried to redirect to potentially insecure url"

Post by ritaxis » December 18th, 2020, 10:39 pm

This may not be a thing, but when I first tried to log in just now, I got the error message that I could not connect because (no subject noun or pronoun included) tried to redirect to a potentially insecure url, along with something to the effect that I should report it here, which is why I'm making this post. However, when I tried again, all was well. In case this is not a fluke or an error of chrome's, I figure I should do my duty.

This has been an issue since we moved over here. I believe I found the cause during my ongoing rebuild of the site so hopefully it will be resolved when that launches here sometime next year. It can safely be ignored for now. If you go back to the home page, you'll be logged in.

Yes, I noticed that there was not actually a problem from my viewpoint! I'm glad it's neiother new nor a problem from yours.

Hello! This appears to still be happening, as it happened when I first logged into this site just now.

It is for most of us from time to time, but if the cookie (remember this website) has not expired then I don't see it again until the next time I actually have to type the password in again or get my browser to provide it. Or the first time I use a different browser,

Refreshing the screen or reverting to the main page should still clear the bogus error, as Chain had said previously.

It remains unresolved, yes. The site rebuild is still not finished due to my busy schedule unfortunately. Returning to the home page still works however.

No issue man, everything else on the site works and that's what matters, right?
