Igazor, I'll be putting it in the chatterbox then. Just one thing, are you yourself seeing all the trees in map view, being on the 1.67 version (just assuming you are)?

Are you kidding? I've been playing in downtown Bridgeport for so long now (on the rare day I actually get to play anymore) that I haven't seen a tree in years. Well, maybe there's one still alive in the park. :)

Sorry, not helpful. Yes, I am on 1.67 and I still see trees in map view. But honestly if they took a very long time to render or all of them didn't really appear, it wouldn't bother me that much. If I am in map view for more than a minute, chances are I am looking for a sim (by way of Tagger), observing the movement of sims globally across the world, or issuing commands on sims, households, or City Hall to check on the status of various things. Not to see the scenery nice though it can be, but this is just me I guess. I am also used to playing on what is now an eight year old graphics card that was barely mid-range at best in its day; that's history now, but I haven't been able to play much on the new system.

In regular zoomed in mode, that would be different.

This is why I still love the game so much you know, despite the shortcomings, because of all the gazillion different ways it can be played! Thanks for the info.
