im trying to get the careers base mod however non of the links work. they take take me to a webpage that doesnt connect making the mod impossible to obtain even though the link clearly shows .zip file. how can we get the files that do this

Hi there. This is the download link for the Careers mod. It should not be taking you to a webpage, it should be taking you to the file store on DropBox, the resources of which we use to handle download bandwidth.

Does it matter if you use a different browser or not use a Private browser window to obtain the download?

hi yeah i tried clicking the link first it takes to dropbox but doesnt do anything. ive also tried saving link as and it goes to downloads then says Failed network error. i have no clue whats stopping it. ive tried it through google chrome and microsoft edge and its the same outcome. it would seem the link is broken from the information ive found around the issue

The links to the different versions of the mod work perfectly fine for me, which means the links aren't broken. The problem must exist somewhere on your side.

ive tried updating all my drivers, reinstalled chrome and tried looking into everything i can think of with my antivirus. do you have any suggestions on what it could be then? i really need help with working this thing out

The link works fine on current versions of Firefox, Edge, and Chrome. It's not a browser issue, it seems that something is blocking you from accessing DropBox hosted content. If it's not Private browser windows, are you perhaps behind a VPN? Or a Firewall that is blocking this content?

thank you for helping its much appreciated i turned my firewall off to see if that was the issue but it didnt help so im at a complete loss why i cant get it to work. i havent got VPN or anything im on a standard setup with everything.
