The malfunction with clothes
Special outfits are things like the costumes that kids can wear from the costume chest, or the ones they wear when pretending to drive on the couch or holding royal court. Mermaid outfits are special outfits too, I think. Pretty much any outfit that you can't edit easily or at all in Create-A-Sim or...

The malfunction with clothes
Removing more than one outfit at a time does risk corrupting the Sim. I can say from personal experience that removing all outfits from a Sim will nearly always corrupt them beyond any ability to recover them (other then reloading a previous save). Wow, now I have reason to worry, because I've done...

The malfunction with clothes
I don't think this will fix it for existing Sims, but you can prevent it in the future by editing the barefoot shoe clothing items and disabling "Valid for Random". The process is the same as for recategorizing any EA clothing. Once you've done that, you could use a computer or City Hall to do MC < ...

Yes, one of my sims was wearing university graduation robe for her career outfit lol. Does the career outfit they're supposed to have show up as Career Outfit #2? If so, you can delete the graduation robes via MC' Remove Outfit. If you ever want the robes back, there should be an option at dressers...

Memories
I turned memories off a long time ago too. I definitely remember reading somewhere that memories slow down load times. I also think I read that because of the way memories are stored, simply deleting them doesn't free up space or improve load times. As I recall, those two things were the main reason...

Take photo together NO MORE!!!
That's an interesting connection to the parties. You were very observant to notice that. Now that you have seen that connection, I wonder if you can prevent the annoying actions when you throw a party by keeping all your active Sims busy so they never have a chance to engage in the party actions. I'...

When you get a Pet Oddity like that, you need to talk to Animal Control. You might try sending them a message like this: This is poster John to Animal Control, I'm looking out my backdoor, And stray pets are arriving in a most peculiar way, And my yard is very full of them today. For here, Am I livi...

I was just reading the thread about cleaning house for all sims and I wondered as well why "clean house" wasn't something all sims could do. Then I read the modder's description and they claim it's such a simple thing and the bugs from EA's handing of the actions are also easily fixed. I have to sa...

Thanks, sittingbear , I didn't know that. Based on that information, I set everything to Disabled and removed all ages for TakeSelfPhotoWith A and B. The results were not conclusive. The "Take Photo Together" option was still sometimes present in the interactions menu, but choosing it did not result...
