It's issues like this that keep us on our toes and I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't even think of seasons specific settings as being a possible culprit. I don't think I've ever used that feature of Retuner for anything so I usually kind of forget it's even there.

Don’t be disappointed, I actually use them and it didn’t hit me either, even though I noticed that the break off point seemed to be at the seasonal change. I only found out when I checked my time portal settings that it had summer specified.. I thought I might’ve borked something with that, as it suddenly landed in my yard on every load up where the settings were missing..
Just a little note about the season specific settings though, they don’t seem to actually load into the game unless you save, quit and boot back up, so they might be a little obsolete if one plays through several seasons at a time..
