Retuner settings question

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

Retuner settings question

Post by natbsim75 » January 10th, 2021, 9:41 am

Recently, it seems like all my sims' kids have ganged up and they are trying to drive me insane. I think that Retuner can help me play my game without yelling at them every 2 seconds but I don't know if specific settings exist to tone down some behaviors that start as very "cute" but, after a while, end up being repetitive and annoying...
"Preside over royal court" is one of them! I have noticed that, especially, girls with the Excitable trait are obsessed with this interaction. It doesn't matter if their fun motive is full, it doesn't matter if they have a million toys and other things to do and it doesn't matter if they are almost collapsing from exhaustion, they will change their outfit, find a dinning or desk chair and do it anyway! And they... take their time to stop it when I cancel the interaction! Earlier today, I had one girl miss the school bus because I didn't notice her in time!
On the other hand, I have a boy with the Athletic trait who is obsessed with the rocking horse (from Supernatural EP). The moment I don't give him something else to do, he will "Hunt Bandits" and he can do it, literallly, all day if I don't stop him. His family are farmers and they live in a 60x60 lot, I was watching his father replacing all the barren plants and the stupid boy spent a whole Sunday on the rocking horse. I stopped him because he was starving, I sent him to eat and I hoped that he would go to sleep after that. Nope! He went on the freaking horse again...
I guess we could call it "normal kids' behavior" and I could stop giving my kids the Excitable trait or delete the horse... But I love this trait and I like the horse, so can Retuner tone it down a bit?

Enable the Show Object Menu option in Retuner then you should be able to find the interactions and turn the autonomy to false.

On the Sim and CostumeChest if you have one:
PlayPretend

On the RockingRider:
CatchTheBandits

Alternatively, you can go into the Advertised Outputs and dial those down. Only the fun motive is driving the costume play while the rocking horse has several trait advertisements as well.
