Pet beds

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

Pet beds

Post by leiela » May 11th, 2020, 8:08 am

I've looked through the options and I know it must be there.... is there anyway of increasing the appeal of pet beds?

I've got dog beds in all my houses, quite a few dog houses as well.... in short there is no reason for Dog's to sleep annoyingly at the side of my sim beds... it's every flipping night …. they ignore the perfectly good dog bed at the end of the bed and sleep on the floor so my sim can't get out of bed.

I'm guessing there is a setting somewhere to increase the appeal so dog's will use them more often? and stop sleeping on the floor?

I don't think that you can keep your pet dogs from lying at your beds side ;-)

BUT you can easily lock the door to any room you want and choose the pets via sim list - deny.

For my active sims I have set all sleeping room doors only to allow the specific sims who sleep there to enter, that stops everyone else including pets and gives more privacy. You only need to set the doors again, when you want the room for other sims.

They like your sims and want to be closer to them, even if it's not technically that much closer. :)

In my experience, if I direct the pet to sleep in a pet bed a few times in a row they get the idea and seem more likely to head for it on their own. Not so in these cases?
