Tuning drinks

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

Tuning drinks

Well, my children can drink coffee. It's full of antioxidants and is good for them. My grandparents let me have my first cup of coffee when I was 6 and it didn't do me any harm any harm any harm any harm whatsoevereverever...okay, it was really more milk and sugar than it was coffee and maybe I still get a little jittery at times at times at times. :)

Anyway that's easy to arrange but the issue with the coffee bars and some of the cash registers is that there are no animations made for children and they would stretch out horribly if we just unlocked the actions with Retuner. So instead, we have this:

Tuning drinks

Seems odd to me that kids would stretch at the coffee bar and not the vendors. I guess I never paid any attention to how tall the counter is on either one. I'm guessing the coffee bars are taller? Anyway, thanks for the link. I will likely try that. It's cool to see the other things they can do with that too! I never did get why they didn't allow kids to play instruments. I mean most of us who play started very young. I think I took piano at around 6 or 7. I used to play very well, but haven't touched one in years. They are such a pain to move and I ended up selling mine because I used to move around a lot and I never bought another. BTW playing an instrument is NOT like riding a bike, I sat down at my mom's piano a while ago and got quite frustrated at how much I'd lost. :(

BTW: I love coffee now, but as a kid I tried it and hated it, even with milk and sugar. I started drinking coffee regularly somewhere in my mid 20's. I used to buy whatever was cheap or on sale, but once I tried Gevalia, I was in love! If you've never tried it I would recommend the brand. it's really good. And I generally add a splash of french vanilla creamer...:)

The problem with Gevalia is not with the product, but they have a strange place in history by way of their parent company having allowed themselves to have been the subject of massive (and I mean HUGE!) amounts of email spam back in the earlier days of people getting connected electronically. Some of us have really long memories when it comes to stuff like practically losing control over our inboxes over the sometimes hourly arrivals of offers to buy printer ink, magic anti-aging creams (aka junk), and Gevalia -- those are the big three I remember from back then.

Anyway, I can still drink big name brand supermarket coffee if I really have to, the awful faces I make on the first gulp as I readjust my palate aren't typically seen by anyone else, but usually what comes out of my bean grinder and goes into my pot is a more than a few notches above that.

Off-topic, but one way I like to relax these days when not playing the game or posting on TS3 related message boards is to binge watch classic TV game shows on YouTube. I just saw a What's My Line (one of my favorites) episode form the 1950s the other day where the contestant was an 8 year old child. He really did have an interesting profession, but the point was that he came out from behind the curtain on the "Enter and Sign In, Please!" cue carrying a footstool because otherwise he would not have been able to reach the chalkboard where they have to write their name. All I could think of was, that was cleverly done so at least the poor boy didn't get all stretched out due to lack of proper animations being programmed in. :)

Great, thanks for ruining them for me.:| I wish I was a simple-minded Sim. Or maybe a cat or dog. I'd make a good dog, but really I am more of a cat if I'm being honest.

Ya know, we pretty much can't buy anything these days that isn't tainted in some way by big corporate creeps doing horrible things to someone, some group, or our precious environment. I used to try to be as green and "PC" as as possible with my purchasing, but the deeper I looked into everyone, the worse it got and the more disappointed I became in humanity.
I haven't given up, but I try to do what little I can here and there, I guess that is all any of us can do. The rest of the time I just play ostrich and stick my head in the sand, otherwise I get very upset and angry. Being truly sensitive and emphatic in this world is a nightmare and I dealt with it all a lot better when I was younger...or maybe I didn't. I dunno...

I don't know what TV you watch, if any, but there's a pretty funny show on Netflix called, "The Good Place" that is a lot deeper than you'd think at first glance. It pretty much sums up the world we live in by the end of the second season. (I think there's 4 or 5 total) It deals a lot with various philosophies and mankind's most basic ideals and wraps it up in a silly, but sometimes funny. sit-com. (sans any annoying laugh-track).

Take care my friend. Be well and thanks for the help. :)
