Getting too many best sellers/hits in writing career

No one knows everything this mod can do. Did you know you can tune the size of your sims nostrils with this mod? I'm kidding.

Getting too many best sellers/hits in writing career

To be fair, I've tweaked the majority of genres so you can actually make a living from writing, but I think I've probably tweaked something(s) too much because every time my Sim (lvl 10 writing skill and has all the added skill perks) finishes a novel in her genre (or any other genre) it's a best seller. It would be nice if it weren't such a usual thing.

I've tried to lessen the choices listed with writing one in Register, but it hasn't worked.

Any sure fire way to have this happen short of defaulting it back to vanilla then me going at all those selections again? Thanks.

Register has no settings pertaining to this. Did you mean Retuner?

The tuning for this is under Sims3.Gameplay.Skills \ Writing. You'll find kQualityLevelXChanceBestSeller for each writing skill level. Perhaps you've 100%'d the level 10 one. There's also kQualityProlificAuthorBestSellerBonus which is added to the above chance value if your Sim has written 20 books.

Yes. Sorry. It was late. I saw an "R". Will this be moved?

I know I didn't set the first to 100%. It's at around 8%. I will take a look at the second. Thank you.

** It was the 2nd. Set at 20% so between that, the first you mentioned and the % for the opportunity I think it was around 35-40%... still pretty good RNG. But, thanks... appreciate it.
