I learned from Retuner and started retuning myself from overwriting data in GameplayData.package, and so far I have been able to do most of the changes I desire. Recently I got stuck trying to modify the job experience granted from completing jobs, specifically Firefighter and Lifeguard professions. My sim has already maxed out related skills, and it takes forever to gain job experience from rescuing sims from the ocean or from fire alone. Is there any way to modify the job experience from these jobs? Thanks in advance for any advice!

There's probably more than one way to do this, but if you buy your sim the Entrepreneurial Mindset lifetime reward (10k points), you can then adjust the XP multiplier within Retuner. The path is:

NRaas > Retuner > Settings > General > By Tunable XML > Sims3.Gameplay.TuningValues > TraitTuning > kEntrepreneuralMindXPMultiplier

Raise the value from the default 1.25 to whatever's convenient.

The reason it's not ideal for me is that I like to keep the tuning consistent throughout a save file, and my sim could be doing other professions (stylist, architect, self-employed) in the future. The multiplier applies to all professions I assume. If possible, I would still like a way to adjust Firefighter and Lifeguard only, if it is not possible to adjust specific jobs' experience.

If I end up not finding another way, I will use this as my solution. Thanks again!

This is not possible with Retuner. You would have to create a tuning mod that modifies the JobsAndTasks XML.

I tried FireFighting XML and Lifeguard Career DMTR with no luck. At first I thought FulfillmentScore was what I needed, turned out it was the lifetime happiness rewarded for the wishes. I was worried this tuning is not available to users. Thank you!
