Eternal Death

I keep getting messages for the same Sims "getting old" and "dying" Not rapid fire. But I'll get the "so-and-so is getting old" message and then I'll get the "so-and-so passed on" message a few days later. THEN I'll get the "they're getting old" message maybe a week or so after that. What gives?

All of these sims are from other worlds. Like University or one of the WA worlds. Are they coming to visit and SP is aging or killing them appropriately but not updating that in their own world? That’s the only thing I can think is happening. But I don’t know how to correct it. Visiting doesn’t seem to help.

Also, does SP not track the supernatural status of Sims? Because I got a message that a YA vampire sim I knew passed on even though it had been well under the time a vampire sim has in YA stage.

SP's range does not extend beyond the world currently being simulated. It's Traveler that has the ability to arrange for (or block) the aging of foreign world sims by making adjustments to their pending data in the TavelDB file.. I think what's happening there is that the foreign sims' pending data in TravelDB is for whichever reason getting out of sync with the real sims' data in their own worlds' nhd file and that's generating false reports. At least in my case, whenever I see these and I know the warning cannot or should not be true, it never is and I can still go visit or call for the sims to come visit me and they are still alive and the ages they are supposed to be. Not sure if there is a solution that will stop the false reports.
