NRaas Hybrid breaks the mermaid underwater eat interaction

Hello!!

I discovered a bug with NRaas hybrid. It replaces the default "mermaid eat" interaction, the interaction in which mermaids eats fish on land or under water.
The thing is that it doesn't work underwater, since the mermaid will just resurface and swim back to land.
I am pretty sure this happens because the replacement-interaction doesn't have an ITUN-file where the scuba diving posture is listed as an allowed posture, like the original interaction does. So it's pretty easily fixable, you can pretty much copy the original interaction's ITUN-file.

Wait, Hybrid did that? I thought it was an EA bug that never got fixed.

Hybrid just clones the ITUN in scripting so not sure why that'd be the case. Have you confirmed removing Hybrid fixes the issue?

Yes, I confirmed by removing Hybrid and that fiex the issue. After removing it the mermaid could eat fish underwater without issues.

I noticed that mermaid bug and fairies not getting the option to use Bloom after installing Hybrid. Is it safe to remove or replace Hybrid? I really just want a return to the original/default (unintended?) hybrids that came with Supernatural that were eventually patched out, without extra bells and whistles.

IIRC it should be fine the only mod I'm aware of that can't be removed without starting a New Game is the Careers mod.
Although I'll give igazor, a page to make sure.

I can't speak to the mermaid thing, but the fairy bloom issue has been fixed with the current beta testing version of Hybrid available from this page.

I could be mistaken, but Hybrid should be removable provided you have ErrorTrap in play to clean up what would become superfluous traits on the sims that will then revert to one primary occult state. There are no true hybrids in an unmodded game as one occult state will always be the dominant one and win out over any others on a per sim basis.

Hybrid has the curse of being the mod Twallan was working on when he abruptly retired. There's a lot of unfinished code - and it's fun to pinpoint exactly what unfinished bit the game is not happy about.
