Can’t find sim after errortrap
My sim was graduating from university and invited her parents to graduation. While waiting outside the building to enter, the sim’s mom got the errortrap notification and disappeared. She’s still in the uni world judging by the relationship tab but i can’t find her (tried the focus on sim nraas feature) and scared to save the game (leave the university) without her. do i need to find her first or she will reappear in homeworld regardless?

Someone will hopefully correct if it doesn't work like this in University, but visitors from other worlds are usually mini-sims- basically a little clone with just enough data to masquerade as the original. If one of those vanished after being reset, I don't think it would impact the real instance of them in their homeworld.
Regardless, you can always do a Save As now to do the return trip and see if that sim is okay. If not, feel free to discard that save and report back here

As this is a special travel situation, I hope someone knows.
In the meantime, do you have a save before the invitation to reload this and go back?
If not,
It is always useful to Save As under a different name before special events or simply regularly to go back (f.i. use Nraas Saver). Also to see if the issue is happening again or not.
So let's wait for more ideas.

Unfortunately i don’t, only figured out that’s an option while searching for the solution
. But what’s interesting is that the dad (also visiting) is functioning completely fine…
