Hello! I have hard time to add a foal to my family. I have male horse who I want to be the father of the foal. My world does not have any other horses. The mother horse can be anything and I don't want to wait pregnancy or birth. Is it possible to create a foal instantly like this? I like to have only two horses in my world, the father and the foal.

I think what you want is MasterController's Instant Baby command (MC Cheats module required). Be prepared though for the foal to be genetically identical to the parent as he would be the only sim available from which to pull genetic information.

Another way would be to have your sim look in the newspaper or on a computer for horses to adopt from the animal shelter. There may be some baby horses available and you could proceed with a step-foal (would that be the correct term?) or use MC to connect the father and baby horse on their family tree using Add Child (or Add Parent) once both horses are present. I would probably add a second adult horse to this world though, even if only temporarily, so the foal can be a genetic blend of two, at the time, existing horses.

Thank you, I have the mod installed. How do I use instant baby? When I first click on the horse and go through the menus to get to instant baby and click accept I get an popup that says "Donor, There were no sims matching all the criteria."

are there no wild horses in your world?
Donor means a parent, pregnancy out of the air is not possible.

No I don't have wild horses in my world at all. I just want the foal, no pregnancy no birth.

Edit: I ended up adding a female horse to my household to use the instant baby and now I got a foal! Follow up question, Is it possible to completely delete the horse from my world? I don't want to see the potrait in the relationship panel etc. Is it safe or will it cause issues like in the sims 2?

Use Master Controller's "Total Annihilation" command on the female horse. Don't just 'delete' it as that will definitely cause problems. However, having said that, I'm not sure if using "Total Annihilation" on the female horse will have an effect on the genetics of the foal, so wait and see what others have to say before you use that command.

I would be very careful to Save As first in case something goes wrong unexpectedly, but yes creating and then TAing a second parent strictly to use its genetics was going to be my next suggestion. TA means it arranges things as if the sim in question never existed, so there should be no phantom appearances on family trees and relationship panels left behind, but their already passed down genetics should stay in place. That's essentially how SP and the game itself creates new sims, by creating two parents behind the scenes for their genetics then deleting them once the sim creation bit is completed without the player being able to observe any of this directly.

I don't know why I thought Instant Baby would work with only one parent (donor), sorry if that idea just led to a waste of time.

Are there no mods that can create pets out of thin air?

I know that DebugEnabler allows you to create an alien and has a 'Make Sim' option, but I can't find anything about cats, dogs, horses and unicorns there.

You can use this
click on your sim then: NRaas > Master Controller > Sim > Basic > Adopt Pet. A window comes up with options to adopt a Cat, Dog or Horse.

Or

Increase the numbers of stray cats, dogs and wild horses and if they have spawned
use MC Add Sim on your lot, filter Type of pet pool

With Debugenabler
you can try and test also this option. I don't know what exactly happens or if you can choose what type of pet, so be careful
