I don't know if I'm bad at using mods or just unlucky. I'm trying to use porter to move my household to a new custom world I just downloaded, but every time I click on a household in the map screen and click on porter, my game crashes completely. I've tried doing this with my active household, non-active households, and a freshly created household. All crashes. I checked the FAQ for help and tried to find previous topics about this issue but found no answers. Please help. Thanks in advance.
I also tried to use traveler, but there are babies in the household that can't travel, and I want them to grow up in the new world, not the old one.

Do you only want to porter 1 household?
Then you can simply save your household with or without house in Edit Town to the bin.
And in the new world you can place them.
Porter is meant to be used if you want to porter several households, to keep all relationships between them.
I don't know why your game crashes, this should normally not happen.
Did you get any Errorscript files? Do you have Errortrap installed?

Thank you for responding.
I want to port 6 different households, as my main household has siblings and parents that I want maintained, as well as friends I want to move over to the new world and maintain as well.
I do have error trap, and didn't get any script errors for the issue in the sims 3 folder. I'm not sure if there is somewhere else error trap will generate a script error, but that folder was free of script errors.

To be honest, I've never used Porter myself. I've transplanted sims by way of the household bin and I've very extensively used Traveler to connect worlds within the same game save and pull households into new (to them) worlds using MC > Add Sim once the first household to move gets established all the Traveler way.
Babies can travel along with older sims if you allow them to do so within Traveler's settings under Allowable Travelers. They share the same setting as the one for Toddlers.

Ohhhh, okay, let me try and change the settings then. I wasn't aware that was an option. Thanks so much.igazor wrote: ↑January 24th, 2024, 7:11 pmTo be honest, I've never used Porter myself.
