Sims 3 64bit petition

There's also a new game called Vivaland.
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1976830/Vivaland/

But all of them, also InZoi, are no open world like Sims 3.

Paralives
I don't like the cartoonist sims, so it's not an option for me.

C-Dark, oh, Vivaland was a new one that I haven't heard of! Thanks for mentioning it!

But what do you mean by they are not open world like TS3? Paralives is (okay, you don't like the graphics, that's alright), Life By You is also an open world life simulation and with realistic graphics. And I was under the impression that InZoi will be open world, too, but the development news on this one I don't so keenly follow.

Maybe I am wrong, can you edit terrain trees in game ? not only the lot, I will have a look at Life by you.

l want the possibility to have a world editor too like CAW but better :)

But I don't think that I will switch to another life simulation game, in the next years.

Edit: ok "Life by you" looks nice too from paradox.

I didn't like the cartoony/clay-ish look of the Sims 4 sims, and Paralives is a cartoon. :P The looks is a matter of taste, though.

I don't hate EA. They made my favourite game, Sims 3. It's not perfect, but computer games never are. They never fixed some bugs, but at least it's playable thanks to mods. I don't like the look of sims 4, and they did many mistakes, but they are professionals and can make good games, and if a game is great in my taste you might have a different taste and not like it at all. If the next Sims game will be good, then it's good. I'm not boycotting EA, but I'm not buying what I don't like.

The "Life by You" avatars look too much like fashion dolls, with Barbie bodies. I don't like that, but there's hope.

Yea i heard they didn’t do it well with mac 64 bit but we don’t know how they are gonna do it with the windows. I know that there are new life simulation games coming out but none of them seems to substitute the sims 3 since the multiple-generation saves I have are not just game saves and they became some kind of important parts of my life. Cant just simply abandon them and im sure a lot of people here are like that too and that why we love this game i think.
The gameplay wise, only life by you and maybe paralives are smiliar to the sims 3 open-worldness. Enzoi and the project Rene seems to be more like the sims 2 and 4 openness so I don’t think none of them can substitute the sims 3.
so for these reasons, I think it’s good to have 64 bit option in our hands along with the current version since it will take this game to another level in terms of so many elements such as story telling by making those incredibly beautiful but unplayable custom worlds playable and making the longevity of a single save longer without having to do all those tricks..

but honestly, they won’t rework on their older games unless their new project doesn’t do well…

When my original laptop broke, in the interim where I was saving for the PC I have now (which took about a year) I remade my most precious TS3 sims in Tomodachi Life, of all games. It was nice to still have them around in some form, and I even worked out many details about the family that I would take back into the real save, as silly as it was.

I definitely couldn't just permanently move them into a game that happens to be the same genre, nor drop them to make new ones. I agree that wanting a stable update to TS3 is a very different desire to wanting a successor to the game. Unfortunately, it's not really something EA is known for. As nice as The Sims 3 Remastered 22nd Anniversary GOTY Edition sounds right about now- that isn't the game dev we got stuck with ;)
They don't even sell TS2, which is already hosted on their servers (there are times it's possible to redeem a code for it)!

That looks interesting maybe I'll look into it when it comes out....as long as my cancer stays in remission anyway.
