I'm pretty sure that since the sims 3 is such an old game this may be wishful thinking, but has anyone at Nraas ever considered creating a Butler-type mod that is a massive improvement on the existing EA butlers in which a simple phone call could request a team of service sims that would be live-in help?
Such as:
#1 - A live-in babysitter - a service sim who always automatically has traits assigned to them that would make them an ideal caregiver for children.
#2- A live-in maid - a service sim who always automatically has traits assigned to make them ideal cleaners - like Neat and Handiness and Makes No Messes traits? (Also one who won't run away or quit if they see a ghost or bonehilda)
#3 - a Gardener - a live-in service sim who automatically is assigned the Green Thumb traits and has the ability to handle all the gardening and deliver harvestables directly to the fridge or to an active sims' inventories when they're doing their jobs?
#4 - finally, the Butler, who would pretty much do whatever the maids and babysitters do - or even have some bodyguard aspects allowing the active player to ask their butler to protect them by fighting another sim?
#5 (optional) a Nectar-making service sim whose job it is to create Nectar for the household's nectar cellar.
I just ask because I'm redownloading a lot of service-related mods and usually, if my sims are wealthy enough to afford maids and butlers - they have HUGE households that could really use a full team to help run the daily activities of their mansions.
also - unrelated. is there a nraas mod that currently exists that allows more than one item to be dragged to a fridge? I have sims that do a lot of gardening and/or conjure up lots of apples and it's always a pain to drag them one by one into the fridge. (i use a mod that keeps the fridges empty so that they have to be manually restocked for realism) but I would like a mod that allows multiple food items from a sim's inventory to be sent to the fridge.

Not an NRaas mod, but this mod by treeag at Modthesims, Store All Fish and Harvestables at Once, works for me and I think this is what you are looking for?TroyLD wrote: ↑November 24th, 2023, 3:26 pmalso - unrelated. is there a nraas mod that currently exists that allows more than one item to be dragged to a fridge? I think there's a gardener mod over at mod the sims,
You can disable the reaction to ghosts or bonehilda with Retuner
https://www.nraas.net/Members-Retuner-Settings
You can use SimControl mod by Knight, it has a lot nice options like let another sim cook
https://modthesims.info/d/674125/sim-control-tools.html
You already can add more than one item, if you have 20 apples they are packed in the inventory, you can drag all.
Or use Mastercontroller to transfer to,
by clicking the fridge. Then you can mark all ingredients in your inventory set the number or all.
At modthesims are many nice mods like the housekeeper service

or

Thanks!
I had no idea you can do that with Retuner - but i still want regular sims to react - just not service sims.
Also, I didn't know it was possible to do that with the apples! Hopefully that goes for everything else edible as well!
As far as the service suggestions:
I already use the housekeeper service and gardener service so I'm aware of those mods and I enjoy them. But in my original post I was talking about a similar mod that would just send an entire team. (My goal is to not have to use multiple service mods) but hey - I currently already do and I don't have a problem with them, it was just a suggestion for the Nraas team, assuming they still want to mod for the sims 3. I don't imagine they do but I figured putting it out there can't hurt.

You need to left click the arrow in the left upper corner of any multiples in the inventory, hold to move.
I also have a large household, 12 + 4 pets, but my sims are capable of keeping the house clean, don't need or ever used maids and such, I even disabled them.
I only have in addition a human looking plumbot as nanny and house helper, which is totally sufficient for me

I could be wrong, but I don't think entirely new entries have been added to the NRaas suite since the original developer retired. It's not that the interest in making large script mods is gone from the community, but rather that this just isn't where it would be developed and hosted.
MTS and Tumblr have plenty of active script modders that make all kinds of new and innovative things quite often. The skillset is just a lot more laborious than other kinds of CC creation, so there is rarely the spare time for anyone to take requests. Usually the way things go, at least in my experience, is that if you badly want something for the game... you end up making it yourself
+ Yes, stack dragging is already in the game- but here's another recommendation: Buzzler's Moar Interactions which has fridge stocking options such as by quality, type, etc.

Have you met our team of developers? They are actually contained all in one person whom we refer to as Chain_Reaction. We only let him out of that cage in the basement in which we keep him to quash the occasional Stir Crazy moodlet and to take care of his other occasional human needs. Generally speaking though, he doesn't really have the time required to devote to the mod development projects he has already put on his own plate. I guess we could and perhaps should let him speak for himself, but this kind of response becomes habit after a while,TroyLD post_id=97821 time=1700862192 user_id=25590 wrote: t was just a suggestion for the Nraas team, assuming they still want to mod for the sims 3.
For the record though, Cupcake and Tagger were developed, released, and updated exclusively after Twallan's retirement. And many of the existing mods have been and are still being updated, some with brand new features.
There are, of course, other players with modding skills who hang out here. But the project as described would have to speak to both their interests and skill levels in order to trigger any kind of inspiration for new mods and potentially new animations.

I had no idea this mod existed - thanks! That takes care of the fridge situation (or at least i hope it will, I'm going to give it a try)Cassie wrote: ↑November 24th, 2023, 4:36 pmNot an NRaas mod, but this mod by treeag at Modthesims, Store All Fish and Harvestables at Once, works for me and I think this is what you are looking for?

I never knew about the left arrow-click thing for multiples! You literally just blew my mind. All these years I've played the sims 3 and I never even noticed that!C-Dark post_id=97822 time=1700862910 user_id=236 wrote: You need to left click the arrow in the left upper corner of any multiples in the inventory, hold to move.

Also: Unrelated, but thanks C-Dark so much for recreating the zombie mod! I know you said that you don't care for zombies personally but I really appreciate it! I think it's a bit ironic how much some of us simmers gravitate toward a life simulation game - and then do everything in our power to disrupt the built-in realism xD That's probably why I prefer to have maids and butlers take care of the more mundane tasks like laundry and whatnot - that allows me to focus on creating chaos and wreaking havoc across town.
