I'm stuck with the sarcophagus
Hello everyone, and I need help urgently. I was going through a quest. A very long and exhausting quest, there were many tasks with different countries and step-by-step opening of doors. I don't know how, but it seems I got to something earlier than I should have. The visuals suggest that I should pick up something in the sarcophagus, but the problem is that I can't. One of my sims has ALREADY done something there and now there are no treasures there. Is there anything from the nraas mods that can generate again what was in the sarcophagus? I tried to do something on my own and everything only got worse, as a result - the sarcophagus stopped functioning completely and I was forced to leave without saving.

Okay, I recently completed this adventure, which I found exciting by the way.
I have sent my precious sim to France to test this problem, and....it has a VERY easy solution (at least it has worked for me)...there are 2 options:
- As it is the last task to do, you can cancel the adventure and with DebugEnabler you add it again by clicking on the sim and selecting phase 24a. This way you will have the recipe in your inventory.
- I liked this one. It's as simple as DebugEnabler -> DEBUG:Create tomb Mummy on the sarcophagus. With this the ugly mummy appears that comes out of the sarcophagus. Then, if you beat her with your cool sim, and then you can now look inside the sarcophagus. If you can't beat her, DEBUG:Destroy Mummy tomb (something like that), this makes the mummy disappear, and the "look inside" interaction appears.

However just note this will likely obliterate the current quest so you'll have to restart it.
And note some key items like Pangu's Axe are tied to the household so they'll still be prevented from picking them up if they have obtained that specific item before. There's a whole other song and dance you have to go through for that.

Nooo, I can't believe this is the only way out... The quest includes all three foreign countries, I will not accept that I have to go through it again Hmm... I remember that I once generated treasure again in the chest and well using the buy/build mode and ctrl+shift... I will try this method, maybe it will work by a miracle.

This probably won't help at all, but I ran into something like this, where visuals indicated I was supposed to get something from a spot, but there was nothing there. I don't remember the details, but I thought for sure it was over. I wasn't going through all that again. Well. I ended up finding the item in my OTHER sim's inventory, even though this OTHER sim wasn't even in the room (though he had been helping out with the quest, so who knows?). Once I moved the item from the OTHER sim's inventory to my main sim's inventory, my sim was able to move on through the quest. I still have no idea how that OTHER sim had the item.
Again, I know this is probably not helpful as it is probably specific to this particular quest or something, but all I'm saying is that MAYBE all hope is not lost!

I got stuck on the Nectar quest mission on the first trip to Egypt, I told myself go to Egypt and talk to "someone", but when I got to Egypt the adventure was canceled and I couldn't continue.
What I'm talking about, DebugEnabler has an option to assign the adventure phases directly to the sim, so I would say that if you find which phase you are in, you can try canceling the one you have assigned and then, with this DebugEnabler option you return to that point. It should regenerate the treasure in the sarcophagus, in case you lost it or something. It is an option, save the game separately for testing.

I literally need to make the very last interaction in this quest. In theory, all I need to do is look inside this sarcophagus. But I can't, and everything is collapsing because of this! What does this recipe of ancient nectar look like? Maybe I can include it in another sarcophagus? Or I don't know... No wonder I left this game for a long time.

Ah, yes, I'm reading many threads on forums about this problem, apparently that's how it is, if you open the sarcophagus before you can't open it again. Something else occurs to me, with the MasterController option to add to the family inventory, you click near the sarcophagus and put a radius of I don't know, 3, let's see if it appears, if the recipe is there, you can still transfer it to the family inventory of the lot and then with testingcheats - buy here you can take it ashore and pick it up, I have never tried what happens with this on community sites, to be honest, but I can't think of anything else. Resetting it with MC doesn't work they say and no one gives a clear answer to this.

Am I remembering correctly that WA quests are just opportunities and can be added and skipped through stages using MasterController and/or DebugEnabler?
If it's just a generic item for quest progression and not a treasure you actually want your sim to have, you could move on to the next stage (if there is one, I'm not sure if there is a way to mark the final stage as complete) or cancel, replace the lot, and give yourself the quest and skip all of the stages you already completed.
The solution linked at MTS also seems promising, if being more thorough is your preference.

They can indeed be assigned with MasterController so getting back to where you were shouldn't be that traumatic. Don't have to delete the France world as mentioned on MTS, replacing the lot should work just fine unless you find that easier.
