Hi! I want to preface this by saying I've tried to look this up but seem to be the first to notice this issue. If I am wrong, I apologize.

When using MC to adopt a pet, it doesn't update the LTW "The Animal Rescuer" like it would if I used the phone or the computer. Is there a fix for that or something else I should use?

Maybe this option is not meant for getting LTW, but just for adding the pet ?

In the documentation there is a note saying "bypassing" which indicates for me, it is not doing it the standard way

• Brings up the EA pet adoption dialog, and allows you to add pets to overstuffed households
• Note: This process bypasses the whole adoption service situation, and adds the sim to the household immediately

Yeah it doesn't fire the events for the LTW. This one is tricky because MasterController commands really shouldn't be fulfilling LTWs but at the same time the EA scenario is a broken mess which is why the MC one exists really. I'll ponder on it and take more feedback if anyone would like to chime in.

I would love to have that as an added "perk" to that command but not if it's time-consuming to do. My sim can pick up a phone lol

You can always use MC's Lifetime Wish: Change Tally to increase the count by one yourself, just depends on whether you consider that less or equally tedious as simply using the ingame adoption.
