I have prom disabled with SP, but my teen just got a prom notification. Is this one of those things like when they have summers off, but their career panel still says they are due to go to school until the time they would have to leave, then switches to telling them they have 24 hours until they're supposed to go to school?

As it turned out, there was a prom, and two more after that, after which I changed the cooldown(?) time to long enough that it couldn't come up again while she was in school. Since her future husband, with whom she was romantically involved, called to ask her to go with him, I let her go, hoping he would ask her to go steady there. It was the first thing that came up as soon as she entered the school building. So it worked out OK.
