Cannot see many of the SP options

The mod that's bigger than 80's hair. We promise to help tame the beast.

No sorry, my mistake! It does get confusing, especially when one or more of these modules were recalled after the updates were deemed not necessary.

Let's try that again. The current release version of SP Relationship is 267 (not 268, again that was my error).. It is intended to be used with either the current version of the SP base mod (267) or the one in beta testing (now 269).

The version number will not always match, but the base mods and the add-on modules are supposed to be meant to be used together. SP Relationship has a lower number than the others in beta testing strictly because it hasn't been updated in so long, whereas the base mod and some of the others do have updates in beta testing. They are still meant to be compatible and used with each other.

Look at MC Expanded Tattoo for a simpler example, for those who use it. It is still at v122 which seems ancient by comparison with the base MC mod because there has been no reason to update the module for many years, while the MC base mod and its other add-ons are at v134 and v135. The current Tattoo module is much older but still meant to be compatible with the higher versions of the others, full release or beta testing doesn't matter.

Thanks, that helps a lot. It's good to know that my versions should work together.

I think, as is usually the case with the complicated stuff, that this is user error. I found one of the settings I was looking for, and I just didn't follow the documentation correctly to where it was supposed to be. So I don't think there's anything wrong. There are just a lot of settings. :D

Thank you. That should prevent further confusion if someone else happens upon the mods. I'm going through the settings now for Career and Relationship modules. I'll try to point out if I come across missing module requirements.

Only a matter of time before someone "calls for a manager" here. :)
I apologize if my tone seemed like I was demanding something. I have been going back and forth with this for a while now and the documentation having missing information didn't enter my mind or I would have tried the modules and fix my problem without asking.

No, it wasn't taken that way at all!

The documentation pages on this site are supposed to be correct. It actually felt like I fixed these a long time ago, but maybe that was for a different SP module and we just never noticed the omissions on this one. Apologies for adding to the confusion as you were troubleshooting the missing options.

One of the reasons we never noticed this, I expect, is that many to most of us here use all six of the "regular" SP modules (maybe not so much the SP Personality ones) all of the time, so we would never have encountered these options having gone missing in our own games.

While I'm being a pest -- Didn't there used to be a marriage name option that was just to randomly pick from all the options? I don't really want all the households in my neighborhood to follow the same convention. I'd like to simulate different couples making different decisions. The closet I see is Coin-Flip, but as I recall that's still hyphenated, just randomly choosing who goes first.

(The marriage name was one of the options I couldn't find. It's now under Caste I guess, and not under General anymore.)
